Syrian Wild II

Jerusalem

Journal Entry: Wed Sep 30, 2009, 1:40 AM
Not having Jerusalem pics in my portfolio doesn’t go too well with me being a photographer based in the Middle East, holy land here i come, ok, I guess writing this journal after the fact is cool also. I went for a three day trip to the Holy Land and got some really cool pics there, I spent a day in Jerusalem, a day in Yafo, Tel Aviv and Haifa, and a day between Acre, Naqoura, Safed and the lake. It was such a great trip and such a super photo-op. Now all I need to do is upload those photos, give me a week or so and I’ll start putting them up on deviant.
For those of you who get the opportunity to make this trip I would go without even thinking about it. RUN RUN RUN, get that camera and go.
On another note, I went to Wadi Mujib in Jordan this week, one of the most beautiful hikes in my life, though it is a completely wet hike that includes a lot of swimming, which meant my camera had to stay home. The need for the 5D Mk II is essential because of the lighting and color, now my question to all of you out there is if there is a water proof kit that is for wet areas other than the underwater scuba kit which is as expensive as the camera itself. Looking for a camera cover that is much cheaper than that, something just to not let the water come in while its in the bag and while i take it out take a couple of pics, not to take pics under water. Help :D
Anyways, I hope to have a lot of the new pics up soon, enjoy.

Best Regards,

Nasser Majali
